The Entourage Season 8 is expected to return in its regular schedule on Sunday, July 24, 2011 on HBO at 10:30 PM (ET/PT). According to the show executive producer, Mark Wahlberg, this season will be the last season of Entourage.
Doug Ellin, the creator of Entourage already expressed his plans to write the movie version of the show. However, there is no confirmation about the film. In July 2011, prior to the premiere of the final season, HBO aired a 30-minute retrospective of the series, titled “Hollywood Sunset: A Tribute to Entourage”. This 30-minutes presentation includes the interviews with series cast members, and executive producers, where they discuss the beginnings of the series and their memories over the run of the series.
The Entourage Season 8 is expected to air eight episodes. This season would be somewhat a wrap-up of the entire series. The new season will kicks off with Vince is getting out of rehab, and everyone — particularly Drama — is worried he’ll fall off the wagon. In typical Hollywood-denial style, Vince ultimately says he only went to rehab to stay out of jail. Eric will be dealing with the fallout of his wedding-breaking blowout with Sloan, and Ari, who realizes he’d like to get back together with Mrs. Ari. Drama is also about to hit a bumpy road with his new animated series, and even Turtle, who was on top of the world the last time we saw him, comes to a crossroads.
The last season of Entourage will teach these boys that no matter what happens, they can stick with each other, and they can still trust each other to watch their back.
